Jane Walton - Trainer
Jane's life has been defined by a deep-rooted passion for the Thoroughbred. Jane started training racehorses in 2010 after successfully being Assistant Trainer for her father Alistair Charlton, and also previously successfully training point to pointers. It is Jane's passion to buy and produce quality athletic racehorses. She continually aims to improve every horse that comes to the yard, and her aim is to have a small yard of quality horses where every horse gets the individual attention that they need to succeed. By maintaining a boutique yard, Jane ensures that every horse reaches their full potential on the racecourse.
Trish Robson - Assistant Trainer
A lifelong horsewoman, Trish is an integral part of the team since Jane was granted her license. With a degree in Animal Science and a background in Animal Health research, Trish brings a meticulous, evidence-based approach to the management of our horses.
Trish also provides a specialized in-house service as an Equine Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist, qualifying in 2012. We believe that mental and physical wellbeing is the key to success on the track. Trish's therapy sessions are woven into our training schedules to reduce injury risk and keep are horses happy, supple and ready to win.
Peter Mayland - Farrier
Peter has been our farrier at the yard for over 20 years! He is great at keeping our horses feet balanced, and we don't loose many shoes!
Jackie Chapman - Chiropractor
Jackie is a McTimony Chiropractor who lives locally to the yard. When horses need extra support, Jackies chiro sessions can be very beneficial along side our training programs and other body work. Every aspect of our horses health and well being is catered for.
